New unfinished Walnut ( needs sanded and a finish put on ) All inletting is done on the buttstock along with the drawbolt hole bored, but could need very minor final fitting to the frame due to the variations from frame to frame and the affect of climate conditions on unfinished wood. 

The original guns use an 8" drawbolt which these stocks are made for, if you have a newer gun that has a longer drawbolt a spacer will be needed or you will need to purchase the Remington 8" drawbolt.
